Q. Joaco, congratulations on you winning your own match as well as Torque advancing to the next stage. I want to start off with you today. You beat Bubba, bumped him out, you were 1 down coming into the turn, you dug deep, and you made three birdies in a row. Talk through what was going that time.
JOAQUIN NIEMANN: I knew it was going to be a tough match with how good Bubba is playing. I was playing well. I had a bad stretch. After like No. 1, 2, and 3, they slowed me down a bit. I'm able to almost drive the green there, and I made par on the 1st and the 2nd and then a bad bogey on the 3rd.
Obviously there's so much golf to play. I kept hitting great tee shots. I gave myself chances, and I was able to deliver. So it was great.
Q. It's been a bit of a bittersweet couple of weeks for you. Obviously this is your last week with Mito on the team. How much of that is your motivation for you guys to get all the way through to winning that team title for him?
JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Obviously it's pretty sad. Mito is one of my best friends. I've been seeing him struggle for the last two years. It's been hard. He's been playing great golf lately actually.
I think we actually had a nice talk with the four of us on Tuesday afternoon. When we all arrived, we got together, and we kind of, Sebastian was joking about it, and he send the link from Netflix, The Last Dance, so we kind of like were like, all right, let's do it for Mito so he can leave with a good feeling about it.
Yeah, I feel like right now Mito is the heart of the team.
