Q. Bryson, we'll get to the golf question in just a bit, but the Texas heat did not scare your fans today. How much of a lift did you get from them after a frustrating day like that?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Yeah, disappointing day, but look at the fans. This is what it's about. We were able to bring some people out here with my little debacle I guess you could say, sitting up on one of the freeways there. I don't think insurance is going to cover that, but it's fine.
It was great to see the fans out in storm and this is what the hometown of Dallas is about. Great crowds, great people, great atmosphere, and it sure is a fun time.
Q. You've erased a big deficit before, Chicago 2023 comes to mind. I know it's a tall order, you're nine behind. Does that give you confidence that it is still possible?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Yeah, there's no doubt it's possible. Look, this round could have been 5- or 6-under pretty easily and it just didn't go my way. The wind is still diabolical and I don't have it under control and it keeps kicking my butt. Even though I live here I can't figure it out. I've got to do something about it and hopefully we'll have answers here soon, but I'm working really hard to get back.
My team is doing pretty well. Paul played really well today, super proud of him. This is a golf course right up his alley as well as it is for all of us. It's a diabolical golf course and one that I've got to be better at as a captain, and I'm proud of my team.
