Q. Richard, well played today, 4-under par round of 67 in the second round of LIV Golf Promotions. Can you just talk us through your round today.
RICHARD LEE: Yes, last week I was kind of struggling with the putter, made a few tweaks this week before the round. It seemed like it worked.
Unfortunately, I had two bogeys on the last two holes, but I feel like I'm kind of safe.
Q. It's looking like 4-under at the minute. Obviously a lot of golf still to play. It's good enough to proceed to tomorrow. 36 holes on Saturday and only one spot up for grabs. What is the mindset going into Saturday?
RICHARD LEE: I think there's just too much golf out there still. 36 holes, it's a workout pretty much. Just got to keep focused and make putts out there and not make mistakes.
Q. Then just some of your intentions too. What would it mean to be able to join LIV Golf on the 2025 roster?
RICHARD LEE: I mean, for everyone I think it's life changing for any player out there. I'm playing on the Asian Tour and International Series some. Definitely it would be just a different life for my family. I think it would be a good life.
Q. Finally, there's only one spot for LIV for next year but top 10 get into the International Series. How big is that for you as a player?
RICHARD LEE: For me, not really because I'm already exempt for all the International Series next year, but to have that confirmed spot out there, I think it's a good thing to happen.
Q. What was it about the putting that you adjusted?
RICHARD LEE: Just simple setup. I was getting too close with my shoulder and kind of opened it up. It seemed like it was working pretty well today.
Q. You went through a really hot stretch earlier this year. The results have kind of tailed off a bit. I notice this is your 29th start. Have you felt a little tired at the end of the season?
RICHARD LEE: Yeah, definitely. I kind of had a really bad flu during Hong Kong, and I think that kind of hit my body a little bit. It took me a while to recover from that.
I think I recovered pretty well, and I think tomorrow is going to be a good round.
Q. We haven't had a Canadian golfer on LIV Golf. What would it mean from your standpoint and as a Canadian? Is Canada ready to embrace LIV Golf, do you feel like?
RICHARD LEE: If I get that spot, definitely I think Canada will have thoughts of making a team maybe, if possible. I think that would be great.
There's a lot of Americans out there and different countries out there. So I think if they had a Canadian team out there, that would be great.
Q. Do you feel like you're playing for -- do you have that feeling on your shoulders a little bit, like we haven't had a Canadian player yet?
RICHARD LEE: Yeah, it's crossed my mind for sure. If I do make it, I think it would make a big impact on Canada.
Q. Welcome to Saudi Arabia. Yesterday we saw the Saudi player, the first player in this league. We wanted to ask what you think about the Saudi players and the future?
RICHARD LEE: They've got a great atmosphere here, the golf course is wonderful. It's a learning experience step by step. You've definitely got to grind out there and definitely make a lot of putts out there.
I think Saudi golf is going to do really well. They've got LIV Golf out there and a lot of opportunities to come forward.
Q. I know, just looking back at your October form in particular, you had T-9, T-2, and a win in two tournaments. You need that form tomorrow, and how close are you to kind of finding it?
RICHARD LEE: I think I found it on the putting, definitely. If I just make sure I read the greens pretty well out here and not get the bumps out there, I think it's going to be two good rounds out there.
Q. Confident in your fitness? I know you said you had the flu and everything. Are you back to full fitness?
RICHARD LEE: Yes, I am, 100 percent.
