Q. Here with Caroline Inglis. Nice way to open your week here. Clearly a member. Know where all the kicks are, where all the lines are. How was it out there today?
CAROLINE INGLIS: It was good. I didn't like hit the ball very well or play particularly great, but I putted decently and scraped it around.
It's always nice to like shoot under par, and it's really fun out here seeing all the members and friendly faces, and I have some family out here, so it's fun.
Q. What was working so well for you today? I know obviously short game must have saved you.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, my wedges were good, and then just some good lag putting. But, yeah, just want to hit a few more greens tomorrow and should be good to go.
Q. Looking at this golf course, seems pretty straightforward off the tee, on the greens. I know the greens are quick. Where are the teeth in this golf course?
CAROLINE INGLIS: I think it's that the greens are well firm right now and they're going to continue to get so much firmer. Even with the rain we got they're still firm.
So like No. 7, for example, you just have a wedge in but it's only four on. It's kind of impossible to get close to that hole. You really have to give yourself like a full wedge so you can get some spin on it.
Yeah, it's kind of like a bomber's paradise. I played with Maude-Aimee and she hits it a mile and she's taking lines that I'm like, oh, wow, must be nice to hit it over there.
Yeah, I think the speed of the greens and just the firmness. And if it keeps getting firmer it's just going to get harder.
Q. How fun is it to play so well in front of a membership that I'm sure adores you? I know there are a few other members out here.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, there are like seven of us playing out here that are members, so that's really fun. I feel like we all feel really supported by not only the membership, but like by the pro shop staff and Susan, the owner. She's an incredible woman.
They did an article on her this week. But we're really lucky to be out here. Matt Brooks the director of golf has been instrumental in getting this event out here, so cool to have that support.
Q. Off to a hot start. Three days of golf left. What will you carry with you?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, keep doing what I'm doing. Doesn't have to be perfect. Just stay really patient I think with the greens as fast as they are.
