Q. All right, here with Lilia Vu after a bogey-free round here at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Presented by P&G. Just how good does it feel to get a bogey-free round here under your belt?
LILIA VU: Yeah, it feels really good. I haven't been had this position in a long, long time. I feel like I've kind of gone down a different route in my golf game and trying to get body first.
I was talking with my mental coach, and the only goal today was to try my best on the shot in front of me and not to get ahead of myself; I think I did that really well. Just gave it my all on each shot and turned out pretty nicely.
Q. Yeah. Extremely accurate today. 13 fairways, 17 of 18 greens. Was that the key to your round today?
LILIA VU: I think so. I think just getting in the right position and some pins are tucked in different spots and you want to be able to be assertive with it. If you're in a good spot, just try and get that birdie.
Q. Talk about slow, steady out of the gate and turned around on the front, your back. What was it at the turn that started clicking for you?
LILIA VU: I think I just got used to the receptiveness of the greens on the back nine. I knew, okay, if I hit it a couple yards past it'll spin back and then we'll be in a good position. So just basically flag hunting more so than laying back and just being more assertive.
Q. What does it do for you the rest of the week knowing you can put up a round like that going into tomorrow and hopefully Sunday?
LILIA VU: Yeah, this round gave me a lot of confidence that -- even wasn't hitting it very far today, it was earlier in the morning, body is still kind of tight, but even so, being further back on each approach shot I'm able to go out there and have fun and convert and make birdies.
