Q. All right, great round in the first round of the 2025 ShopRite LPGA Classic. Just talk about what went well for you. Seemed to have an amazing finish.
ALINE KRAUTER: Yeah, I didn't really miss many fairways today. My approach shots were all right as well, and then I was able to convert a couple of birdie chances, which was really nice.
We tried to stay super patient today because it got pretty windy out there. We assumed that none of the afternoon people would shoot a really low score because it was difficult, so we're really excited for tomorrow, which is something to look forward to.
Q. Talk about the last stretch, the three birdies in a row. What got you to that final push at the end?
ALINE KRAUTER: I made a double early on my back nine, and then I just came back really well from that. It was definitely frustrating on that second hole, but like I said, we just stayed patient.
Yeah, gave myself a lot of good looks and was able to convert some of them; giving myself chances and just keep pushing.
Q. Speak to what you've been working on leading up to this event.
ALINE KRAUTER: I've been playing a lot of golf honestly. I played in Mexico, I played at the U.S. Open. Didn't really get much time off. I played a couple pro0ams this week, so played a lot of 18-hole rounds.
But, yeah, it's just nice. It's just nice to be playing well. It's always fun when you're playing well. Yeah, just been playing a lot.
Q. You have John on the bag this week. Just what kind of personality and what does he do for your game?
ALINE KRAUTER: It's really. Really fun with John out there. He has a lot of good stories to tell, a lot of good commentary. Yeah, it's really fun. We've had a blast so far.
