Q. Nelly, we've just seen a tweet from LeBron James saying that's a hell of a putt you just made there on the 18th. There is a crossovers thing going between golf and basketball. How does it feel to know that such legends of basketball and sports in general are watching you play golf?
NELLY KORDA: I mean, it's so cool, especially playing on Wednesday with Caitlin. I actually did see he tweeted about my shoes, too, so it's cool to see all these legends get into the game of golf.
Q. That's pretty cool. Obviously completely different day to yesterday.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah.
Q. What adjustments did you make to make that switch?
NELLY KORDA: If I'm being honest I actually didn't play that bad yesterday. On the putts I maybe hit them a little too firm, and other than that, like I felt like I was playing pretty good golf and my score just didn't match up to it.
Went to the range, the putting green after and tried to figure it out, simplify it a little, calm myself down a little bit.
Yeah, came out today just capitalized on the good shots.
Q. You seem to be a player that once you've have a little break away from the game you're able to come back pretty quickly. A lot of players come back really rusty, but you're able to turn it around pretty quick. What are your keys to that?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I think I just have a lot of fun. I love competing. When you're away for a little bit you miss it a lot, so I love playing at home. I love playing in front of my family. It's good to recharge your batteries, too. The year is long and we have lot of obligations sometimes off the golf course too, so it's nice to recharge your batteries.
This is what I love to do. I love to compete and I love to play some good golf.
