Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with Charley Hull after the final round of The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. Kind of just talk a little bit about your round today. 7-under 63, bogey-free. What was just going right out there?

CHARLEY HULL: I said today, I was in the car yesterday and I was like, we should go for everything today and just make as many birdies as we can, try and stalk down Linn Grant.

Yeah, I just played pretty solid all day. Hit it pretty well. Even left some putts out there. But, no, I feel good going into next week, especially without having a practice round this week.

Q. Talk about the putting a little bit today. Only 25 putts, only 11 on the back nine. With these slick, fast greens, when you see the lines can you be a little bit more aggressive?

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, definitely. I enjoy fast greens. Even though like England the greens are slow, but I love fast greens. The first couple days it was kind of hard because I'm coming from 8 on the stimp to these feel like 14, do you know what I mean?

So took a little bit of getting used to, but now I'm getting the hang of them.

Q. You mentioned next week a little bit. How nice is it to have a 7-under 63 heading into next week under your belt now?

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, definitely. It feels really good. I've won round that course before. That was my first win on the LPGA Tour, so I've got good memories of it. And I've had a second there as well, so I like the golf course.

So, yeah, just going to be a good end to the season.

Q. You mentioned you were trying to do what you could do to catch Linn and did a pretty good job.

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah.

Q. How tough is Linn to catch when she's really on her game?

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, like obviously she's a long ball hitter and I feel like she had -- well, she's got quite a comfortable lead now. As long as she just pars in she'll get that win.

Q. There are so many people here. What does it feel like to sink the putt in on the 18th hole with the crowds?

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, it was really good. It's obviously a tricky little hole, that, so I managed to play the hole good today.
