Q. So Yeon, you end the day at 11-under with a plethora of players. How are you feeling after day two?
SO YEON RYU: Well, actually I was pretty nervous this morning, like final round morning. So I really try hard to calm myself down, and then I think I did it really well for calm myself down.
So I started with a birdie, birdie. That's definitely help me out to make the feel more comfortable. Even though I made a bogey at No. 3, like I really trusted myself. Then I feel like my long game is really good right now.
So I think it's really matter of short game, and so far putting and short game are pretty good, too. Looking forward to keep this shape all the way to the weekend.
Q. Were you nervous because of the windier conditions maybe?
SO YEON RYU: I think I knew my expectation level was going to be really high because I played really well. I think that made me really nervous about it.
Like I said yesterday, golf is always different. Like the shot 65 means not you have to shot 65 all the time. Even though we know that, we sometimes just give ourself that pressure on it.
So I think that's why I was nervous.
Q. On your back nine, seemed like you had some -- quite a few birdie opportunities on the green but just didn't work out. Was there anything going on or was it just...
SO YEON RYU: No, it was so windy out there. Like it was really hard to judge like how much wind I needed to populate it.
Also, like to be honest, like the back nine I didn't really have much birdie chances. I don't think I have many putts like within 15 feet. If it's outside of 15 feet I would say even though that's a birdie chance, it's not really a birdie chance.
Even with two-putt I'm happy with it.
So I think I did my best as what I had, and hopefully I can get more birdie chances for next two days.
Q. And you were talking about being nervous. I've seen you play quite a bit and I can't imagine you being nervous. You never look nervous.
SO YEON RYU: No, like I think every golfer is pretty much great actress. We are nervous all the time. Even for sure Inbee looks really calm all the time but she gets nervous, too.
So also nerves not always a bad thing. Like you have to have that to bring out your A game. Having great amount of nerve has always helped me out to play better golf, so I hope I can manage that level really well for next two days.
Q. You've got two players ahead of you, good players, by a few strokes. But you got two days, right?
SO YEON RYU: Yeah.
Q. Anything is possible if you got your A game, right?
SO YEON RYU: You never know about golf. You know, like to be honest, even though I shot 11-under for two days it's actually not that easy condition. I don't know how all players playing really well.
Somehow I was able to manage pretty well to shot 11-under. If I can do that again for next two days it's going to be 22-under par and whether it's going to bring me to the trophy or not I think I'm going to be happy to walk out of the Hawaii.
