Q. All right, Sei Young. What a way to close four rounds here at the LOTTE Championship, someplace that you love coming back to every year.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah.
Q. Just your thoughts after closing today.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Well, today I really I got boost, birdie booster on the front nine, especially I had eagle hole 16. I hit really solid second shot with a 3-wood and it was like (indiscernible - wind.)
So, yeah, I was make the like four feet, yeah, for the eagle and I made it, so I was able to make that eagle.
I had a couple more birdies back nine but I couldn't make the putt. Yeah, it's -- it was a little -- yeah, I wasn't satisfied with that, yeah.
Q. I was going to say, that front nine you really got off to that hot start. Just in that eagle, what does that do confidence-wise just overall as we head into this onslaught of events we have coming up?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I mean, wind a little bit opposite, so some holes I got the downwinds it was a little shorter, so it's playing the really shorter than the last three days.
So, I don't know, I feel look easier than last couple of days. Yeah, and I -- which is mean that I got the confidence the last couple days, yeah.
And I, yeah, I try to make the -- yeah, I try to very aggressive the front nine, even back nine. Yeah.
Q. After your eagle on 7 you had to feel like you were right in the hunt. You have a history in Hawaii of making a lot of big shots, and you were getting opportunities for birdie but just didn't work out, huh?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, I know, after the eagle I get the good momentum, so I was thinking can be chance to reach -- chase the leader.
But, yeah, I try to do my best but I missed it. But, yeah, I finished strong. Yeah, I'm very happy with that. Yeah, even I enjoyed it today.
Q. Especially with no crowd out here making noise, how aware are you of what Lydia is doing? And I know it's interesting, because you're chasing her but, then she might be chasing your 31 right now and maybe still has a chance.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, what's she score right now?
Q. I don't know what it is right now, but she was...
SEI YOUNG KIM: Oh, yeah. Yeah, she can be. It's really good for -- yeah, if she, yep, break up my record it's good for -- yeah.
But I think she left the three hole where she make a lot of birdie, yeah. We'll see.
Q. What about the way she's playing now? I mean, really good, solid, huh?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Who?
Q. How Lydia is playing.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Oh, yeah, she's got the good feel. Yeah, I think she's going to good playing in the future. Yeah.
Q. What's the biggest difference for you of this course and Ko Olina?
SEI YOUNG KIM: It's feel like atmosphere is very similar, but -- well, especially last hole little -- because Ko Olina last hole really tough, because if you get downwind or into the wind, whatever wind, it's really tough. If you short it comes in water.
Q. Not tough for you, though.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Um, (laughter.)
Q. At least that one time.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Well, yeah, but this hole especially we had the chance last hole, 17 hole. So more chance ...
Q. Other players have better chance for...
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, definitely.
Q. And then your English is so much improved.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Oh, yeah? Thank you.
Q. A lot of practice being interviewed, right?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah.
Q. You've had a string of impressive performances. For you what does this do confidence-wise as we continue through the 2021 season?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I mean, just the same as keep feeling as a last year because I play really solid last year, and keep thinking about positive things, when I play feeling good or, yeah, just focus on it.
Not focus on the -- yeah, I just focus on when I play really good, what I thought play good, so, yeah, I just focus on it. Yeah.
Q. One last thing. We always ask this of people having their records being chased. How do you feel about somebody maybe -- that she might catch you possibly? You're still young. You could still get a better score yourself, too, right?
SEI YOUNG KIM: You mean the break up?
Q. If she gets 31 today.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Oh, yeah it's congrats for her, whoever break of my record. Because which is mean women's golf getting improve, everything better. So I'm very -- whoever is break up my record I'm very proud of, yeah, them.
