Q. Just talk about how was it out there today.
LYDIA KO: Actually, you know, I turned on the front nine and literally the two -- I hit two pretty much bad shots, well, like three: one on the par-3 ninth and then one I hit it in the water, and then so it was kind of like I wasn't holing many putts as well as I did yesterday, so I just like wasn't getting anything rolling at that point.
In the back nine, I then, you know, just turned and had a string of bogeys, and I think that was kind of my mistake of like not being able to like stop the bleeding.
Yeah, but luckily I was able to finish strong. I was like, oh, my God, I don't want miss the weekend here. Yeah, good to be playing on the weekend and start it as if I haven't played already, from zero, and hopefully finish strong these next two days.
Q. How was the wind today? Was that a factor?
LYDIA KO: I think it was windier than yesterday afternoon, too, to be honest. Some shots like -- I had a good drive on like 11 and then hit a hybrid and then still hitting 8-iron into the green, these holes are so different I think, and if you miss-hit it on these winds they're getting penalized even more.
Yeah, it's not easy, and I think that's why like birdies are like even more rewarding out there at this point.
Q. How do you get back mentally?
LYDIA KO: To be honest, it wasn't like that bad, like my golf. So my score clearly wasn't good, but it wasn't like bad.
So just trying to take the positives, and then, yeah, just go from there. I feel like I've played worse and scored better. It was just one of those days like where I didn't play that bad but I also just couldn't score.
