Q. Grace, I can't imagine, you seem stunned that you just won for the first time on the LPGA. Just your third event as a tour player. How did you get it done? How did you keep fighting when it seemed like it was out of grasp?
GRACE KIM: I think just the birdie on 17 was definitely the big momentum changer. Yeah, just kind of speechless right now. I will let you know that my second shot on that playoff hole, that wasn't intentional. I kind of got lucky there.
So, yeah, I guess it was a good day after all.
Q. You seemed like you just relished every single step out there and you played so aggressively. Is that really in your nature, or did this tournament bring that out in your personality?
GRACE KIM: I think the communication between my caddie and I worked really well. Mike, he's very good. I think he kind of brings me back whenever I think too aggressively or isn't quite appropriate for the kind of situation.
But, yeah, I think just we just worked well, yeah.
Q. We talked about Karrie Webb and your being her four-time scholarship recipient. Reflected back on that Hazeltine win when you watched Hannah Green win, and now you're a winner. What has Karrie meant to you in your route to getting to the LPGA Tour?
GRACE KIM: I mean, I don't think I have to say much. She's already helped me out so much from my amateur days. Yeah, I think this win is definitely a credit to her for sure.
