Q. Really great round today. Can you just talk me through your thoughts out on the course?
MIYU YAMASHITA: So it was windy and chilly today, and it was playing long, as well. So even though I had the same chances on the back nine, I wasn't able to turn them into a better score. But I could make some birdie on the par 5, so it was nice.
Q. Is there anything about the course that you think suits your game?
MIYU YAMASHITA: Some of the holes are quite narrow, and they are doglegs which may be a bit more challenging. So like short game is the key to play so I did focus on those things.
Q. First time in Singapore?
MIYU YAMASHITA: Second time.
Q. How much do you enjoy Singapore and coming here to play?
MIYU YAMASHITA: So I really like the food. I really enjoy coming to Singapore, and also like with so many sponsors coming out to support us, it feels really stress-free and nice.
Q. And you obviously won the last major of the year last year. How your mind going into this season?
MIYU YAMASHITA: So last year I played in almost every tournament but this year I'm managing my schedule with more rest and adjustments, and I feel like I'm coming in with good condition. And also in every tournament I play, I'm doing my best with the goal of winning. I want to keep improving my skills and abilities take it to the next level.
