Q. Sophia, you looked so comfortable out there despite it being your second major championship as a pro. Tell us about how you were able to be so much in control of your game.

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: Thank you. I have a great caddie, Brittany. She really helped me stay calm today. I think mostly coming into this week I was just trusting God's plan for the week and for the rest of the season.

I feel like I really made an effort to do that today. I was just able to go out and play.

Q. When did you know that you were in the hunt here? There was so much going on on the golf course it was hard for us to even keep track.

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: I really didn't know. On 14 I kind of peeked at the leaderboard and saw that I was T1. After that I just made an effort not to look because I didn't want to know and just keep playing my game. So I didn't really know until the last hole.

Q. Talk through the birdie putt on the 18th hole. What happened there?

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: You know, I put a good stroke on it. It was a good putt. Just barely missed. But I was happy with my effort overall.

Q. Going forward now, busy stretch of golf in Europe over the next few weeks. What are you looking forward to the most?

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: Just looking forward to taking this momentum and going forward. I'm at I feel like a good place in my game in the middle of the season, and just want to take that and go play my best throughout.
