Q. All right, here with Jin Young after her second round it the Evian Championship. Talk about today and moving up out leaderboard.
JIN YOUNG KO: Yeah, the first two days I play really solid, but I don't know, it's really tough to read the break on the greens the first two days. So I missed a lot of putt, but I made a lot of putt also.
Yeah, I mean, I worried about like the rain this morning, but it stopped and then everything was like good.
So I play really well.
Q. You played here a few times. Kind of knowing that the greens will be a little slopey, just prepping for this course what's it like to prepare for a major championship week like this?
JIN YOUNG KO: Yeah, I mean, this golf course is not -- seems like pretty but seems not easy, and so it's really hard to focus because like back side like over the lake is so nice to see.
But, yeah, I mean, I like to play this golf course for majors.
Q. What's the trick to being able to deal with not only the slopes on the greens, but the slopes on the fairways?
JIN YOUNG KO: I think we need -- I need more luck. From the tee shot or second shot I don't know how it goes or how it kicks to what ways, so just pray before hit the shot. (Laughter.)
Q. This rough here looks challenging too. How have you navigated that again with those slopes and having to play out of a really thick, dense rough?
JIN YOUNG KO: Yeah, I just focus to keep the fairway and then keep the green, because like out of fairways the rough is really thick, and it rained last night, so it's getting more longer than three days ago.
So yeah, it's hard, but if I keep the fairway, it makes like I can make more like birdies or eagle. Yeah.
Q. Seeing your Instagram, you've being doing some sightseeing. Did you go out on the --
JIN YOUNG KO: Lausanne.
Q. What did you do in Lausanne and how much fun did you have?
JIN YOUNG KO: Last Sunday was my birthday, so I took my parent to Lausanne, and I really wanted to go winery. I think in Europe like all the store is closed on Sunday mostly, so I couldn't get in.
But we had great time and good dinner at hotel, so I mean, it was birthday, but I was so happy when I'm on a birthday, when it's my birthday, but this year is not very happy. I don't know why. Maybe turn 30 next year, I knew it already or whatever. Still fun.
