Q. Here alongside Manon who had to get up pretty early this morning, a 4:15 wakeup for her early tee time. She was excited to get out here and just get a few shots under way. How would you describe your start to the week?
MANON De ROEY: Yeah, I mean, I'm very happy with my first round. I mean, I like getting up early for first rounds. But it was very early, yeah, I like to go out early.
Q. You posted on Instagram just four days ago how frustrating this game can be, but that you were going to work hard. What was it that you were working so hard on heading into this championship?
MANON De ROEY: Yeah, I mean, as a lot of golfers know, it can be very frustrating. One week can be very frustrating and one week goes really well and other week doesn't go so well.
I played in Europe a long time and sometimes over here I feel a bit maybe not intimidated is not the right word, but I want to prove myself out here as well.
And so I'm working really hard, getting everything right I think, and then it's not working out. So it's a bit frustrating, yes. I'm happy with the round I played today, yeah.
Q. I know you were excited to be done, having that early wake up. How will you spend the rest of the day now?
MANON De ROEY: Yeah, just going to relax a little bit, have some lunch, maybe hit a few shots. We have a long stretch of tournaments here, four weeks in a row, so just going to save my energy a little bit for the rest of the day.
