Q. All right, here with Hyo Joo after her second round of The Chevron Championship. One under today; top of the leaderboard right now. What are your thoughts on today's round?
HYO JOO KIM: It was a much very different round than yesterday, and even though the score is not bad, I can't be just happy because of how different it was compared to yesterday.
And because it rained yesterday, it was like a different -- playing on a different course today.
Q. How would you compare your game today to yesterday's round? Any drastic differences?
HYO JOO KIM: Basically when I was playing the fairway it was very soft, so when I was playing the iron for my second shot it was very different and difficult.
Q. It was lift, clean, and place in the second round. Did that help you at all? Were you glad about that?
HYO JOO KIM: Preferred lie?
Q. Play it up.
HYO JOO KIM: It was definitely helpful to be able to wipe the balls, because if not, then we would have to play with muddy balls, and especially compared like to the rain yesterday, the ground today was different.
Q. You were limping in here a little bit. How are you feeling physically?
HYO JOO KIM: I have a bit of allergies, so I'm definitely getting the senses on my body. Other than that, overall I'm fine.
Q. Can you talk about the birdies on 4 and 8? Seemed very important to your round as far as bouncebacks after the bogeys on 2 and 7. Both par-5s on the front.
HYO JOO KIM: Compared to all the other like bogeys that was making, I was really determined to kind of make those birdies on those shorter par-5s, determined to kind of make up my score that way.
