Q. Here with Mai Saigo after the second round of The Chevron Championship. Great round today to move up the leaderboard. What was your thoughts on today's round?
MAI SAIGO: Today I hit my shots really well, so I was able to put my ball on birdie chance.
Q. Was there anything in particular you did to prepare for this week's event, being the first major of the season?
MAI SAIGO: I changed my equipment and tried to put more spin on irons and new wood and everything to prepare for the event.
Q. So did you get all new clubs? Anything that stayed the same?
MAI SAIGO: The woods are different and irons are some of the adjustment in the loft angle.
Q. And then can you talk a little bit about today's round? You had birdies sprinkled throughout the round. How do you keep the momentum going?
MAI SAIGO: So there is a lot of holes that makable birdie holes, so tried to get birdie there. Even if I have a bogey, try to reset my mind and get birdie.
Q. What do you like most about this event and being in Texas? You played here a couple times now if I remember correctly. What do you enjoy most about being back here?
MAI SAIGO: The course setting, the distance is very long, so my second shot while I'm hitting, it's very long club.
It was very challenging for me and that's very good experience for me.
