Q. Here with Allisen Corpuz after her third round at The Chevron Championship. You went bogey free, which very few players have done here. How hard is it to do that?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: I think it's a pretty tough course, but I also think if you're just making sure your misses are in the right spot, it's doable. I wouldn't say it's easy, but it's out there.
Q. You got off to a really strong start with four birdies in your first five holes. How did you manage that? What was the mentality?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, really just tried to put myself in good position, fairways and greens, just hit some really solid shots starting out and was able to convert the putts.
Q. Did you feel frustrated then with a string of pars after such a -- feel frustrated at all?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, haven't been super comfortable over the ball for longer shots this week, so really just been trying to trust my lines and trust my swing. Was really just trying to stay patient and hopefully make a few more coming in.
Q. Test your memory here: How long were your putts on those four birdies?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Chipped in on the first hole from the front of the green; I think second and third were both about 10 feet; then 5 was a little shorter, I think around six feet.
Q. I obviously didn't see the chip-in. Could you describe it for us?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, just left it a little short of the green. Hit a little bump-and-run, and it caught the hole.
Q. If the stars align tomorrow and you win, do you jump?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: I don't think so.
Q. Why not?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Water is just not looking super clear.
Q. Coming into the week, missed cut, finished in the 60s. What changed for you since those last two finishes to getting into contention this week?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, just took a few days just to try to figure out what was going on. Just wasn't really hitting the ball very well last week, and I've just always felt a lot more comfortable on Bermuda. Grew up on Bermuda, so been putting a lot better this week, as well, and yeah, just trying to take better swings.
Q. What did you diagnose was wrong?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: For me it's usually something pretty small. I think it's just a little bit of alignment, and then it kind of feeds into the rest of my swing.
Q. Is it hard to not factor in the potentially life-changing money in the decisions down the stretch?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: You know, I thought it would be like when I was an amateur. I don't really think -- I mean, obviously it is a lot of money, but I think whenever I'm on the course, it really is just thinking more about the win and not so much about the payout.
Q. What have you learned in your time on Tour that you think will make you prepared for tomorrow?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, I think just watching how everyone plays. Obviously there's a lot of really good players out there, and just keep reminding myself that at my best I'm just as good as them. Yeah, that's what I've been telling myself.
