Q. All right, here with my strong first round even 5-under. How are you feeling out here and what about the course kind of suits your eye or what went well?
MAJA STARK: I think that it feels very open off the tee. At least to me. So felt like I could really go for it with my driver.
I felt like I didn't hit that many fairways, but I felt like they were just out so I always had kind of a shot into the green.
And then I think had that good run seven, eight, nine with three birdies, so that helped.
And I felt like I hit the irons closer than I have in the past this year so, yeah, just felt like everything was good today.
Q. Do you feel like this course is pretty gettable? Obviously seeing some low scores out there. If so, what do you think specifically is making it birdieable?
MAJA STARK: Yeah, I think you can't get into too much trouble off the tee. I think that's just the first part.
Then there is so many bowls on the greens here that you can kind of get to the hole wherever you go, so it's a fun course like that. You can play it many different ways and you can be lucky sometimes and unlucky sometimes.
Yeah, it's a lot of fun.
Q. You became a major champion last year. Very exciting. Do you have any goals or anything for this season that you're looking at?
MAJA STARK: I did set some goals up. I don't remember what they are. Yeah, last year, last half of the year was kind of a struggle for me, so I felt like just getting more into a tournament mindset and not feeling like I have to like hold onto either my like reputation in golf or rankings or anything.
I think I was just very worried about that.
Yeah, a bunch of stuff. So I think just coming back to playing tournament golf and feel like I'm supposed to be here is probably number one goal.
