Q. We joined by Sei Young Kim after her second round at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. Great second round; great first round. Talk about where the game is after those first two days.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, I mean, little less windy today, because yesterday is very dry golf condition because starting afternoon. So today greens are -- I can attack to the pin more than yesterday.
Also even I had a lot of birdie chance the front nine but I couldn't make the last couple front, but and I got the -- try to the positive thing, and then like good momentum some the par-5 and I made a birdie after that, stretch of three birdie.
Yeah, after that I pleased, like very relaxed and then I quite enjoy to play today and then also yesterday.
Q. And talk a little bit about that back nine as well. Five birdies on the back nine. Talk about maybe the difference between the front nine and the back nine. We've seen a few lower scores on the back nine this week.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, it's getting warmer. That's why, distance little farther. And then my putting is quite solid today, especially back nine. Made a lot of birdie.
Just that's it. I keep the fairway and hit a good shot, good putt, rolling is good, yeah.
Q. And then right now, in the lead currently. A lot of golf left to play today. Can you just talk about that. Is that a position you feel comfortable in near the top of the leaderboard?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, depend what you think very different. I try to move forward whatever position is. That's the make me the more strongest, even like rest of the day.
And, yeah, this course is a lot of the opportunity if you play well, so I think some player or couple players play good and we'll see, yeah, what's going on.
Yeah, like my position so I just want to keep the -- yeah, like move forward next two days.
Q. And then just how excited are you to be in this position and playing golf that means a lot heading into the weekend, especially heading into a major championship next week?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, sure. To me every tournament really important, but especially the major tournament is the more exciting. It's golf course condition is really tough and then, yeah, you have to good play and then you have to good strategy and the mentally. Everything is required that golf course.
So, yeah, I'm very look to forward next week. But I have two more days, so I just focus on, yeah, this weekend. Yeah.
