Quick Quotes

Q. You always play well here. I know you had a double on the card, a couple bogeys late, but played really solid otherwise. What did you see out there today that was just working?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it was nice. I haven't really come into the event with much form after Chevron, but it's nice to come back to a familiar place where I have had good results. I feel like the course is very gettable, and I think the scoring has showed that, but just making sure you don't make too many errors is obviously important.

I like it here, obviously, and it's one of the events that I really want to do well in.

Q. Minjee said it kind of reminds her of home a little bit. Do you feel that way?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I think so. There's lots of gum trees out here, which is obviously very popular in Australia, so I think that makes it. But I think because it's kind of a old-school course, it's very similar to home, very easy to walk. So yeah, it is probably the closest we'll get on the Tour to what we have in Australia.

Q. A lot of birdies on the card. Any of them stand out? You got on a stretch there late that was pretty solid.

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, most of them were pretty fair putts, but I did make like a 25-footer on the 14th hole. The pin was kind of in between the bunkers, so I had a very -- double breaking putt, so I was like, honestly just hit it on this line and hope that it goes in, and it was perfect. So that was probably the highlight, the best putt.

Q. What is it about Wilshire that you like so much or that suits your game so well?

HANNAH GREEN: I think the greens are pretty small, and even the bigger greens there's still quite small quadrants that you need to hit, and I think that probably suits my game. I think because I know I can hole putts out here because of past memories, that obviously helps, too.

I find it easier to putt on poa annua than I do Bermuda, so I guess going from last week trying to get used to poa annua again has been tricky, but yeah, it's nice. I think the greens are honestly the best they've been since we've come here to Wilshire. I guess the rain they've had this winter has probably helped that. But I hear, the rumor is they might be changing things in a couple years, so we'll see.
