Q. Do you feel everybody's expectations mounting for you along with your own expectations?

ROSE ZHANG: I certainly feel everyone's support, especially the crowds out there today. They've been cheering me on the whole way.

But certainly there are expectations on me, but like I said before, I feel like that's just a compliment and testament to what I've been doing well so far.

I've been very thankful along the way.

Q. Talking about doing well, obviously you have a lot of victories at the amateur level, major championships there, USGA events, things like that; NCAA championship as well just recently. How do you take what you learned from that into tomorrow's round?

ROSE ZHANG: Exactly. I feel like I've been in very high-caliber events. Played in USGA events, major championships as an amateur, so there has been a lot of media slowly elevating throughout the years, but I have just been trying to take it in my own stride.

I found out that at the end of the day I'm still playing my own golf ball and it's important to take care of that first.

So with that in mind, I've only been thinking about that. That goes the same for today.

Q. Does it make it extra special being able to perform so well in Michelle Wie's hosted event, a Stanford grad herself?

ROSE ZHANG: Yes, of course. Michelle is an absolute inspiration to everyone, and especially to me.

She's given me such great advice. She's such a great person. I've been very thankful for her to be able to host this event. It's such a successful one so far. I've been enjoying every moment.

But Michelle out here has been an incredible host, and, yeah, it's been really special so far.
