Q. Joined by Yealimi Noh after her first round at the Mizuho Americas Open. Very solid round for you today. What went into today?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, I hit it really great. Hit all the fairways, which is always nice. I think I only missed two greens and found my rhythm with my putter on the back nine.
Very solid day.
Q. Yeah. What has kind of lent to some of that accuracy?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, just a week off last week. I went home, did some grinding. Practice was really needed and I showed today.
Q. What do you make of Liberty National? How does it bring out some of your strengths?
YEALIMI NOH: Oh, my God, Liberty National is awesome. Phenomenal conditions always every year, and perfect day today. Lucky with the weather. No wind in the morning for me.
And just, yeah, everything was great. Greens are pure, fairways are awesome. Just happy to be here.
Q. On the LPGA Tour schedule there is a lot of moving around, different parts of the country week to week. Wondering how you manage your energy level and kind of going from time zone it time zone?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, well, being in Dallas for me is really nice, being central, so it's easier for me to travel to some tournaments.
This week I made it a goal for myself to chill a little bit more. I'm always so excited to be in New York so I'm going out shopping and eating. I was like, let's take it easy on the tournament days and get my rest in. That's what I've been doing.
Q. Right now, the LPGA is about to possibly have a new commissioner named. Anything under the new leadership that you're looking forward to or want something implemented?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, looking forward to having just a new leader and maybe some updates to the schedule. I know it's getting better every year. Every year the LPGA is just growing and growing in a great direction.
So I think I'm just looking forward to whatever happens in the future.
Q. This is obviously a very unique week with the AJGA players here. Just how cool of an opportunity is that for them, and have you got to connect with any of them?
YEALIMI NOH: I think it's awesome. I grew up playing AJGA as a crucial part of my junior career and to be where I am right now. I think it's awesome that we get to play with them and they have this opportunity to play with the pros.
I would've loved it in my junior days as well. I think it's really fun and I'm really looking forward to it.
