Q. All right, Alice, first off, congratulations on a fantastic round today. Eight birdies is incredible. How are you feeling right now?
ALICE ZHAO: I think I feel okay, but I think I could have played better because I had like a hole where my game plan was not like right.
So I think I played pretty well today but I think it could have been better.
Q. Today's round was a big step up from yesterday. What kind of clicked for you out there?
ALICE ZHAO: I think yesterday like I wasn't hitting it very well so I think today when I hit a few good shots, and it kind of gave me more confidence in my ball striking.
Q. Did you notice anything different about the course or your approach to your round that it helped you go so low?
ALICE ZHAO: I think today rained so I think it kind of helped my ball to stop on the green. On some holes there was some like helping wind which helped me like hit it farther, so I guess that was good.
Q. How are you feeling mentally out on the course?
ALICE ZHAO: I think today it was okay. I didn't really think too much. But yesterday like I was hitting it so bad I was kind of stressing myself out. So, yeah.
Q. This is your third year now getting to play at this event. How do you think you have grown as a player since is the first time you played here?
ALICE ZHAO: I think I just know the course a little better because I kind of capitalize on the mistakes I made in the past and try not to hit it where I know it's going to be hard to save.
Q. So you've clearly got some momentum going now after the round today. How are you feeling going into tomorrow?
ALICE ZHAO: I think good, because I know I'll be playing with the pros and I think they play really well, so I think that like rubs on me a little bit.
Q. Yeah. Are you excited to be paired with them tomorrow?
ALICE ZHAO: Yeah.
Q. Does it help your game at all when you play with them?
ALICE ZHAO: I think a little bit because they hit it pretty straight so makes me want to hit it straight, too.
