Q. Okay, here with Liz Szokol after her third round. Liz, very exciting round. Lots of up and down, but highlight of the day probably the hole-in-one. Can you just tell us about it?
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: Yeah, it was pretty great. I hit a little 9-iron. It was into the wind and wind was off the left. Started a little bit further left than I thought but the wind hit it, got a great kick, and went in.
Probably one of the coolest holes to have a hole-in-one on with the views of New York City.
I had a double on hole before so it was pretty special.
Q. What was the reaction like out there? Did you see it go in? Tell us about the aftermath.
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: I did. I was able to see it go in. It was kind of tracking which was great, and there were some people up there so that confirmed that it went in.
The whole group was really excited, so it was awesome.
Q. This is your second on Tour, right?
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: Second on Tour, yes. My first was in 2019 at Thornberry, second hole.
Q. Awesome.
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: Yes.
Q. $20,000 donated to St. Jude thanks to CME Group because of your ace.
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: That's pretty amazing.
Q. What is your reaction to that?
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: That's amazing. That's definitely the best part of it. So glad to help contribute to that, that that money goes to St. Jude and does some great things, so that's the best part of it absolutely.
Q. What was the yardage that you had?
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: I think like 131, 132, something like that.
Q. Just overall, your round, pretty up and down day but solid finish especially. Now you're up here on the leaderboard. How does that feel? Gratifying?
ELIZABETH SZOKOL: Definitely. It does. I feel like I played good golf and just tried to stay patient. It was very windy so I knew some bogeys were going to happen. Some of them happened from good shots, so I just didn't let myself get too frustrated. Kept hitting good shots and some putts fell, and had some good shots like the one on 14.
Overall pretty solid day, so excited for tomorrow.
