Q. A third top-10 finish for you this season. Take us through the week.
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, very solid week overall. Definitely a little bit disappointed with my finish today, but feel pretty happy with where my game is at. Just need to tweak a few things before my next tournament, which is the U.S. Open, so it's very encouraging to have a good result here on such a good tournament.
Q. You had 21 birdies throughout the week. What was working so well for you to put yourself in those scoring opportunities?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I've been striking it well all week. I just gave myself a lot of birdie chances. I hit a lot of greens, and I made a few really long putts throughout the week, so I feel like that definitely helped me out.
Q. Extremely accurate, as well; what's been working in that aspect? 56 of 72 greens in regulation, only missed seven fairways. What's been working so well for you off the tee and on your approach?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I'm not really sure. I definitely have been feeling a little bit more comfortable with my swing the last few weeks, and I think this week has been also going in the same direction.
I think maybe visually the course suits my eye. I like that it's not always driver off the tee and you have to think about where you want to put yourself in position, especially with the wind and stuff like that. So I think it's a very nice course and a good test, so I feel like it's suiting my game pretty good so far.
Q. How much of a grind was this week with all the different weather conditions we had?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, it definitely felt like we were playing a different course every day. It was very interesting as a player just because you have to adapt and you have to think about it instead of just having to play the same course over and over every day, which can get pretty boring at some points. So I feel like this week was pretty exciting.
Obviously didn't really want the rain, but it kept it interesting, I suppose.
Q. What will you take away from this week heading into the off week and with the U.S. Women's Open on the horizon?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yes, mostly some positive things. Just seeing some results is definitely nice for the mood and also to keep going. Very motivating, as well, because I do feel like I'm turning my game around. I'm pretty close, and hopefully I can push through and keep going in that direction to have some more results for the rest of the season.
