Q. Here with Aphrodite. Aphrodite, congratulations on successfully defending your title, just like Jeeno. Tell me about your experience today. You went into the final round with a three-point lead. How was it feeling out there for you?
APHRODITE DENG: Yeah, it felt pretty good. Out there in the middle it ended up getting pretty close, but I just stayed in there and made a couple putts in the end.
Q. You looked so comfortable. Were you comfortable? Were you stressed? What was the mental mindset?
APHRODITE DENG: Yeah, I was pretty comfortable. I really like playing in front of the crowds and having everyone there support me, so, yeah.
Q. Was it like playing alongside the pros?
APHRODITE DENG: Oh, yeah it was really cool. I look up to Jeeno a lot and my mom always tells me how good her swing is, so it was really cool to watch.
