THE MODERATOR: All right, here with Jeeno after her first round of the Buick LPGA Shanghai.
Finished with a 7-under today after a little bit of a rough start. Could you just talk a little bit about how you kind of regrouped and got your game together out there?
JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah. I mean, like I said earlier at the TV, like three shots first two hole kind of throw my three weeks off away from not competing.
And then I just told myself just to be calm and then don't take it anything personal. You know, like definitely you going to make a mistake anyway no matter what. And then like I said, every time, how you bounce back it's more important.
You going to learn anyway. Then you have something that sometimes feeling good as always.
Q. Does that happen often?
JEENO THITIKUL: You mean 3-over first two holes? No. Used to happen a lot when I was like amateur, junior. But, you know, I was shocked as well. I was shocked after the second hole. As I say, I still have 16 hole to play, 16 opportunities. I do believe in myself and I definitely think that my caddie (indiscernible.)
Q. (Regarding 25 different winners on the LPGA this year.) What do you think about it?
JEENO THITIKUL: I think it's just like tell us about how the Tour has been going, and then how the field has been so tough right now, because like it seem like -- is it a record yet?
THE MODERATOR: We tied the record.
JEENO THITIKUL: We tied the record, which is so amazing. I never seen. I don't know how the last record was in that year, but it's like not previous year. And I think it just the time of everyone showing off like the performance-wise of the players trying to play as best as possible that they can do, and then just showing us like it's not just like a small world anymore. It's a bigger world where everywhere you are and any nationality you are, you can win on LPGA Tour.
Q. (Regarding No. 18.) What do you make of it?
JEENO THITIKUL: Nothing. I think it's just normal. Definitely you make some, you miss some. I don't think we compare each other each hole. We just like doing our job just the best we can do. She trying to make the putt; I trying to make the putt.
Definitely going to make it like the same for every hole. You not going to hit the pin every hole, right? I think it's just like golf. It's just -- that's why they make -- and then they call golf, because everyone different and then every shot is different. Also every hole is different, so...
But how (indiscernible.)
Q. (Regarding being a top player in the world.) You always just think of yourself as a normal player. That's friends with everyone. How do you think your (regarding personality changing.)
JEENO THITIKUL: I mean, I think like I always say, even the highest you are is the more hungry you has to be, because, you know, when you're at the top and then definitely everyone is going to be like, oh, compliment, cheering you, like you going to have a lot friends.
You don't really realize, that, oh, did we really like close before. But when your down time, it's -- when you're humbling and you get on the top of the down time, when you fall, it's less pain and less hurt.
And I think even golf, even the number-wise really taught me to be humble, because golf and then the ranking not will last forever. Nothing is forever. Definitely one day -- I'm not talking about like I'm going to be like that, I'm talking about like one day definitely I'm going down anyway for sure. Like it's not going to last like forever because I know so many talented players competing better than me out there.
And then I don't know, I just -- that's what make I think all the personality I have makes me who I am today and like the position-wise today that I am at.
So, you know I always talking about this with my team, that I'm so lucky that I have the best team ever that keeping me -- like when I'm on the top they not going to compliment, but when I'm not having a good time they will keep pushing me up.
