Quick Quotes

Q. Okay, here with Jenny Bae after the third round of the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Could you just talk a little bit about today's round for you.

JENNY BAE: Today was definitely a little better than yesterday especially with how I finished yesterday. It was just really unfortunate lies.

But my coach told me just forget it. It's just one bad hole. It's not going to define your entire round and your entire tomorrow. I just started today starting scratch and try to see what I can shoot.

Q. Did you call him after yesterday or you touch base with him after every round?

JENNY BAE: He's actually here so it's a good thing and a bad thing. He gives me hell about it. At the same time I really needed it yesterday, and I feel like he really just set me back into a clear head.

Q. And teeing off today what was your goal?

JENNY BAE: To not make that mistake again. To finally learn from my mistake. But also just to try to have fun. Just playing with two amazing golfers and just trying to cherish every moment that I have.

Q. What did you pick up from playing with them today?

JENNY BAE: They're one of the more -- the most smoothest almost AI type golfers in the world. Every shot looks like it was going to go in, so I was definitely impressed. Although I feel like I shouldn't say that. But I really learned a lot about how they stay patient throughout the entire round.

So I think I'll take from that.

Q. What do you think your coach will talk to you about after today's round?

JENNY BAE: He'll definitely tell me about how I blemished the scorecard the front nine. I feel like he's going tell me the same thing: Keep your head clear. One more round.

Q. Talk about what you think helped you play so well today. You think it was the iron shots? A lot of players have said hitting it close helps out here. Feel like you've been doing that?

JENNY BAE: I think for me it's a little different. I feel like I struggled more with the shorter putts than I did longer putts. I just feel like making and seeing all those long putts go in just gave me enough courage and confidence to make the next one.

Q. Thoughts going into tomorrow? What's your game plan? Probably be in one the last couple groups.

JENNY BAE: Just I guess stay in the present; try to make as many birdies; reduce mistakes.
