Q. Joined today by Weiwei Zhang after the first round of the FM Championship. You had a great round today, three birdies and an eagle. Take us through that a little bit.
WEIWEI ZHANG: Yeah, in the start I play very good. I got one birdie and one eagle first two hole, and I'm so happy for that because it's tough hole the first two hole. I got very good start.
Q. When you start a round like that, just on such a hot start, how do you think this impacts the rest of your round?
WEIWEI ZHANG: I just forgot that. I know it's very good score first two hole and I just telling myself forget, you have new hole and new shot; just focus the next shot.
Q. Golf is a very up-and-down sport. After a few missed cuts the past few weeks, how does it feel to come out and start the round so strong, start with a 5-under for the first round?
WEIWEI ZHANG: Yeah, past few week has no good. Yeah, feel so bad. I just change my mind this week. I tell myself just relax, just like walking in the park and don't think too much. No pressure; just relax.
Yeah, and results good.
Q. When you're working on changing your mindset and forgetting about the weeks behind you, how do you do that?
WEIWEI ZHANG: Yeah, I work so hard past few week, so I just trying too hard, trying too perfect. So this week I just fine. Just enjoy the course. Enjoy the tournament, because now is -- we don't have a lot tournament left so I have to enjoy right now.
Q. This is only the second time that the LPGA has played at TPC Boston. What are your thoughts on the course and the FM Championship in general?
WEIWEI ZHANG: I really love the course and the course condition is great, very challenge course. The narrow fairway and the green speeds very fast, so I think it's very tough course here.
Q. You had an eagle out there today. Can you just walk us through the eagle that you made on the second hole?
WEIWEI ZHANG: Yeah, the second hole I had great driver, so I have 180 to the pin and there is very tough pin because they have water around the greens.
So actually I feel very nervous, yeah. But I just focus on that shot, even I'm nervous, I still need to hit that shot.
So actually little miss-hit but I'm still on green. It's around 20 feet in green, so I made that putt, so that's eagle.
Q. How good does it feel to get a round in after a tough stretch, to shoot a low score?
WEIWEI ZHANG: I feel it's very different my mind. Yes, just feel very enjoy, no result, and just very happy. Yeah.
Q. How do you take this and use it as you go forward? How do you build on this and kind of keep going and trying to keep going low and shooting low numbers?
WEIWEI ZHANG: Yes, I think that's very hard for everyone. Just keep focus on course, not much thinking. I think that that's very hard for everyone. I think just control myself and talking like the good word and positive word, yeah. That's work.
