Q. Okay, here with Aline Krauter after her first round. Tell me a little bit about the round; 3-under day. What went so well for you today?
ALINE KRAUTER: I think everything was pretty solid. I think my game or my tee shots were great. I didn't miss many fairways, which is definitely key around this golf course.
Approach shots were solid. I hit a couple close but most of them were just decent. Then I made a couple really good putts.
So, yeah, definitely happy with my performance today. See where the week takes me.
Q. Hitting the fairways is a good accomplishment here, yeah, because they're so thin. Is it difficult to do that?
ALINE KRAUTER: I would say it's very difficult to hit fairways here, yeah. The fairways are pretty narrow and so hitting fairways is great.
The rough isn't terrible, but you can catch a couple of weird lies and you never know how it's going to come out so you would obviously preferably hit the fairway.
So that's definitely helpful.
Q. What is it that you like about this golf course or that might suit your game here?
ALINE KRAUTER: I think because it's so narrow and it looks challenging off the tee, I think that really suits my eye. I would rather have a narrow fairway than a wide open fairway. I think it makes me pick smaller targets.
I think that's been nice.
Q. The heat is definitely a factor this week. How have you been preparing for that the last couple days and how did you just manage that today?
ALINE KRAUTER: I've just put my feet up a lot to be honest and then just stay out the sun after my round, so I think that's been good.
But just drink a lot of water. I've been drinking so much water and electrolytes and everything.
Q. Last question: Obviously this is fun week. We're at a resort. How do you prepare for this week and have you been enjoying any of the resort at all?
ALINE KRAUTER: Absolutely. I've been going to the pool a little bit. We did a little boat ride yesterday through the little canals. Yeah, it's been super fun. I have my parents here this week, so trying to enjoy the week as much as possible and do stuff outside of golf.
It's not much different than other weeks. Just a nicer place maybe to do it. Yeah, been super fun.
