Q. Here with Jing Yan after her second round at the time Mexico. 4-under today; even yesterday. What was the difference today?
JING YAN: I started off pretty poorly yesterday and played the back nine pretty well, so I think I kind of tried to carry on that momentum on to today.
Didn't strike it as well as I would've liked, but made a couple good birdie putts.
Q. What's the key to being successful on this course?
JING YAN: The fairways are really tight so you want to try and keep it on the fairway and then give yourself a good look for the second shot. If you're playing strategic golf, you're good to go.
Q. What were some of the best parts of your game that led to the round today? Was it putting? Approach?
JING YAN: I think I got around strategically even though I didn't have my best stuff. I think I made a couple good putts so I think that was it for me today.
Q. How important is the putting this week? Seems everybody, if your putting is on, you're good this week.
JING YAN: Yeah, I think every week the best ball strikers and putters are going to get ahead. If you can pick up strokes in those two areas you're definitely leading.
Q. What's going to be the key and goals for tomorrow so far up the leaderboard as you are?
JING YAN: Try to keep things the same and maybe figure something out with the ball striking, get a little bit more loose on the course and keep it going.
Q. What's the plan for the rest of the day?
JING YAN: Relax and maybe hit a couple balls.
