Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with Jasmine Suwannapura. Really good round for you today. Will you take us through what was really good for you this morning.

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Starting, you know, first couple holes I try to play kind of little safe, on safe side, because I only play six holes for the practice round and get to walk on the back nine and pro-am day on the cart path, so I don't really know the course.

We been playing the other course, you know, back when we play Sime Darby, but everything was suit my eye and I hit a good, straight shot. I had a lot of opportunity to hit the pin, and make some good putts today.

Q. You say that you first time playing the West Course. How do you feel about the course, and the fact that you win for the first match today, how do you feel about that?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I feel like with low expectation today then the result come out really good. A lot of putts drop for me, and it's good feeling to start with a low score this week for sure.

Q. You're currently 84 on the Money List. Does that motivate to you really play well?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Yes, for sure. I get to see my parents last week in Thailand, and they getting old and I really motivating to play good and get to top 60 in CME ranking so I will have a chance to play in Thailand next year.

Q. For tomorrow, do you have same game plan, or any changes for tomorrow?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Probably same game plan. Like I think the course change a little bit after the rain from yesterday, and I expect it to be a little soft when you hit a drive and second shot.

But tomorrow, if it's not rain today, tomorrow might be a little firmer, so some of the hole might change. Instead of driver, might layup, 5-wood, 3-wood. It all depends. I'll just keep my game, keep in the fairway, find a chance to hit the pin, and roll some putts.

Q. What do you think are your main challenges?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Main challenges? I feel like you really need to hit straight here. Every single shot, even par-5, it's either go for it or layup. It's very narrow so everything have to be perfect here to have a chance to make birdies here.

So that's very challenging for me. I just think I don't have any expectation, and even though it's narrow for me and everyone, I just aim it there and just hit it there and just keep playing.
