ASHLEY LAU: Didn't really have more birdies to help compensate the mistakes. Hopefully maybe I've saving my putts for the next three days.
Q. So this is the second time you play LPGA on this course.
ASHLEY LAU: Yes.
Q. What can you say, you can share about playing this course?
ASHLEY LAU: I think not a lot of difference than last year. I think I'm more confident this year. Just more experience under my belt, this being my second year.
Yeah, I'm more comfortable out there than last year for sure.
Q. Tomorrow, day two, do you ever any change of plan or what you need to improve?
ASHLEY LAU: I wouldn't say change but maybe just go through my decisions more I think. Just made a couple wrong club choices in the middle.
So, yeah, I think if you take out those few holes I actually did pretty decent. Just putts weren't dropping when I hit it close. Maybe add those two things and maybe good to go.
Q. I know there is no cut, so is there (regarding pressure.)
ASHLEY LAU: Yeah, definitely less pressure that there is no cut. Yeah, I just want to go out there and have fun. I had a lot of fun with Lilia and Charley. Learned a lot from their games. I'm also out here to learn from the LPGA players, too.
Q. Happy to play in this weather?
ASHLEY LAU: Not really. It's a little hot for my liking. I mean, I grew up here so hopefully that can come into play.
