THE MODERATOR: Okay, very pleased to be joined by the inaugural winner of the Maybank Championship, Celine Boutier. What's it like to be back here for another season here at the Maybank Championship? What's it like to be back?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, it's really nice to be back. I feel like it's always a great tournament, and course is in really good condition this year again. So always fun to come back and be able to compete out here in Malaysia.
Q. Obviously to be the first winner of a tournament, does this feel a little bit more special to you?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I mean, I think so. I feel like it's always special memories and fun -- yeah, just fun to be able to go around the course again and just remember the nice week two years ago, and even last year I feel like I also gave myself a good chance.
So it's always fun to have good memories on the course and coming back every year, especially since it's a pretty great tournament here. It's always fun to come back.
Q. What about this course brings out the best of your game? How does it maybe suit your game?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think it's a course that's very much about placement off the tee, but also the approach shots. You kind of have to play good shots, and also be smart about where you want to go.
I think also with the green complexes there are some hills and things like that you have to be pretty accurate with your approach shots.
So it's fun. Definitely when you miss you can have some bogeys out there, so you got to be patient, and also kind of aggressive sometimes when the pin placement allow.
So I think it's a good mix. Yeah, it just makes it fun to play four rounds.
Q. What part of your game is working really well and what are you still trying to fine tune before CME?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think it's a little bit -- nothing is like great, so I think I have to work on a little bit of everything. Definitely good to have good feelings, just giving myself a little bit more confidence with the next two, three weeks coming up.
Yeah, I feel like my game has been good all season. Just haven't been able to have all parts of my game come together the same week. Hopefully soon because there is not that many weeks left. Yeah, I feel like my game is in a good place. I just have to put myself in position.
Q. Is there some confidence you feel when you come back to play in a golf course where you have won before?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I mean, it's just great memories remembering the shots that I was able to hit, especially coming down the stretch and knowing some of the pin placements that they use. Just, you know, having the memory of seeing good shots I think helps a lot.
So I think it's always helpful to come back and kind of (regarding a good week.)
Q. Do also always think about the long playoff that you had here with Jeeno?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I kind of do think about. Not a lot, but sometimes I do. I do think it was one of the craziest wins I've ever had. It was a lot of fun. Definitely not during, but after looking back it was definitely one of the things that really are very memorable in someone's career.
I feel like even for the (indiscernible) that was there to support, I think it was just so crazy. Even everybody back home watching on TV, it was also crazy as well.
So, yeah, it's just fun memories to look back.
Q. You have Thai heritage, right?
CELINE BOUTIER: Thai, yes.
Q. Is there any sentimental value or something special about playing in Malaysia or in this Southeast Asia region for you?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I feel like it's definitely fun for me to come back. My parents always make the trip as well, so it's nice to have them around. I have never had the chance to go to Malaysia prior to the tournament two years ago so I didn't really know much about Kuala Lumpur the country.
It's been very nice. I think it's very similar climate to Thailand, so it's definitely not much difference.
But, yeah, I always enjoy coming back and experiencing the tournaments in Southeast Asia.
THE MODERATOR: Thank you for your time, Celine. Best of luck this week.
