THE MODERATOR: All right, very pleased to be joined by Miyu here at the Maybank Championship. Miyu, first time playing this course. Just what have your impressions been of the course?
MIYU YAMASHITA: The course is (indiscernible) changes, and I think there is some undulations there. The tee shot is a little bit narrow, so I think it's the key to play.
It's the key to playing here.
Q. Coming off the International Crown last week, how fun was it to get to play alongside some of the other Japanese players here on Tour?
MIYU YAMASHITA: So it's a team competition. You really can't make many mistakes, and it's not always easy for everything to be perfectly as a team.
But I am happy that we were able to make it to the semifinal as a team. We communicated well and so turned out to be a good week.
Q. Back to this week on the course. What's maybe some of the keys to success around this course?
MIYU YAMASHITA: So there are some ponds and a hole and also I think the second shot is the key to play, yeah.
Q. What has been the biggest improvement in your game this year?
MIYU YAMASHITA: Overall I could play well for the season, throughout the season, and I think miss shot is feeling, you know, less and...
Q. This is your first time in Malaysia. What do you like about Kuala Lumpur so far?
MIYU YAMASHITA: The course is very difficult and I'm really excited to play golf tomorrow.
Q. What have you seen so far in Kuala Lumpur?
MIYU YAMASHITA: It's my first time to come to Kuala Lumpur. I think it's really awesome and I really enjoy the view of the night and I took many photos last night.
Q. Japanese women's golf is incredibly strong now. You have a lot of Japanese players on the LPGA Tour. What do you think has brought about this change?
MIYU YAMASHITA: I think the courses in Japan is quite tricky, so that's why like our team play -- adapt to the course and the LPGA as well. I think I maybe Japanese player play in the major championship as well so that's why we can adapt on the LPGA course.
