Q. All right, here with Hannah Green after her third round here at the Maybank Championship. Obviously off to a tough start but really, really bounced back. Just what went into today?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah. Yeah, was 1-under through 2 and then 1-over through 3, so was kind of a very up and down start.
But the putter was really hot. I think I had six or seven one-putts in a row for par and for birdie, so that was really nice.
And obviously kept the momentum going and played solid on the back nine until the last. Obviously wasn't meaning to (indiscernible) the shot in the last.
And then I had kind of a tough chip shot. It was a actually a lot more bare than I thought and I hadn't really chipped in a long time. So annoying to finish with a bogey, but still in a good position for tomorrow.
Q. 100%. When you make that double and knowing you're in the same group as her, knowing what her number is, what's the mindset trying to bounce back from that?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it's hard not to know what is happening with the scores. I did see the shot behind me from the group and someone hit it to like three feet, so feeling like I maybe lost four shots on one hole was kind of annoying. Again, to bounce back on the next hole and make a birdie, that was really the momentum that I used for the rest of the round.
There is just so many birdies to be made. It's hard with this heat to -- it's easy to slip up with the concentration, and that's what happened with my second shot on that par-5.
Hopefully I can play the par-5s a little bit better tomorrow, and, yeah, give myself lots of birdies opportunities.
Q. Like you said, still in a great position for Sunday. What's it going to take to maybe catch Hye-Jin?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, a lot more putts like did I today, that's for sure. I hope I haven't used all of them up for the week today. Again, just trying to stay in my own lane and not really focus on what Hye-Jin is doing too much.
I think she's going for her first LPGA Tour win so she might be feeling a little bit more nervous than I am. She looked calm and collected, so who knows. Yeah, hopefully make some more birdies and give it my best shot.
