Q. How do you move on to the next? You've been so good about that from game to game.
OBI TOPPIN: I mean, those games are over with. Watch film. Learn from the mistakes that we had. Now it's onto the next game, Game 4. We got to come back in here and get that one.
Q. People talk about pressure. If you play in the Finals, every game has pressure, doesn't it?
OBI TOPPIN: Yeah, yeah. I mean, I don't really feel pressure. Just probably excitement. I feel like most of these guys are excited to play, which might bring the game a little faster than it's supposed to.
Once you get into the game and get your groove, it slows down and you just trust in your work.
Q. You brought your "A" game and so did the fans, didn't they?
OBI TOPPIN: The fans were amazing yesterday. I've never heard it that loud in here. It was rocking yesterday.
Q. You guys know what's on the line. Two games away from an NBA title. What is the message among yourselves?
OBI TOPPIN: Yeah, we're really not looking that far into the future. We're just worried about this next game coming up. Like I said, we have three games done already. We get to learn from the mistakes that we had and get better from it so we don't make it in Game 4.
Q. You had one of the highlights so far, the put-back. Your thoughts on that moment.
OBI TOPPIN: Yeah, it felt good. Crowd was going crazy after it. The energy was definitely in there. Felt great. I just knew as soon as Ty put the floater up, I knew it was going to be a perfect miss. I had to creep in there and get that put-back dunk.
The energy in here was amazing after that.
Q. When do you start looking toward the future as far where this series progresses?
OBI TOPPIN: Whenever we're going for Game 4, after we win that. We got to win two more, though. But the first one is tomorrow. We got to get that one done first.
Q. Watching the game last night, not disrespecting OKC, the loose balls, the grit you had was so evident. What is it about this team when the game is on the line you step up and are doing everything to win the game?
OBI TOPPIN: We've been in a lot of close games this whole season. We got great leaders on this team, the coaches and players who keep us on track with everything.
We're comfortable in close games. At the end of games, as well. We just trust our work, trust we got to get the ball into our guards' hands and they're going to make good plays.
