Oklahoma City Thunder

Alex Caruso

Game 6: Postgame

Indiana Pacers 108, Oklahoma City Thunder 91

Q. The way you played tonight, does that motivate you for Sunday?

ALEX CARUSO: Yeah, you can have a little motivation from that, but the motivation should be to win for the championship. That’s what we are playing for Sunday, so that’s probably the main force behind the motivation. This won’t sit well for the next couple days, for sure.

Q. What did Indiana do right tonight?

ALEX CARUSO: We played into their hands. We tried to do too much one-on-one. They were active with their hands and aggressive defensively. We were just a little slow to get into rotations on defense and we fell away from the stuff that has been good for us.

Q. How does it feel to play only the 20th Game 7 in NBA history? What does it mean?

CARUSO: It’s a chance at history. We would have rather liked to win it in four, but if you are telling me I got one game with a chance to win the title, I’d take that at the beginning of the year. That’s my mindset. We have an opportunity Sunday to go out and win a championship.
