Oklahoma City Thunder

Luguentz Dort

Practice Day

Q. Everybody talks about how unpredictable Game 7s can be, forgetting about statistics and everything prior to that. How much do you believe that? Is that true, or do you take something from what happened?

LUGUENTZ DORT: A little bit of both. You never know what can happen. It's one game. You never know who can get hot or something happens. It's a big game and a big challenge. We know that we've got to give it our all. We'll go out there and compete and then do our best to win a game.

Q. Are the nerves different going into Game 7 than Game 1?

LUGUENTZ DORT: It's a mix in there. It's Game 7. It's a big challenge. You know that if you win you'll be happy for a long time, and if you lose you'll be mad for a long time. We have to go out there and block all the distractions and go out there and play our best and give it our best.

Q. You guys have that 0-0 mentality, but at the end of the day, you could win a championship.

LUGUENTZ DORT: Yeah, like I said, before that feeling we have to take care of one game. We've just got to finish that game first, give it our best, give it our all, and after that, be happy with the result.

Q. Now that you've played six games against the Pacers, what have you learned about them?

LUGUENTZ DORT: They never give up. They always give us their best punch and a lot of credit to them. They played really hard and physical, and they are in this position for a reason. So we've got to go out there and compete at the highest level.

Q. In what ways have you enjoyed this chess match defensively of how you've mixed things up and been successful?

LUGUENTZ DORT: It's been good. That's what the playoffs is about. You adjust all the time. You're never going to see the same look every time. We knew not every game was going to be the same, and we knew we were going to face different looks. Now we have to adjust and go out there and compete.

Q. What's it going to take to close the door on these guys tomorrow?

LUGUENTZ DORT: Compete, highest level. We've got to do it together. If we do that type of stuff, it's really hard to beat us.

Q. Historically, Game 7, the home team has a huge advantage and you guys have worked all year to have the best record in the NBA for this purpose. How do you guys plan to feed off the crowd, use that to your advantage?

LUGUENTZ DORT: We always use the crowd. They always give us a lot of energy and we love them for that. Like I said, we have to block the noise and all the stats and all that type of stuff. We just have to go out there and do our best to win the game. We've worked hard to get to this point to have the home-court advantage, and we are happy to have the game at home.
