Knicks 105, Spurs 104
Q: This one is obviously emotional. Can you talk about the response after the fact, once you guys get to the locker room and see the position you’re in?
DYLAN HARPER: One game at a time. Dropped two games at home. You never want to do that, but at the end of the day, we’ve got to figure out how to just win the next 48 minutes. I think that just comes with all of us coming together and just being a team. I feel like we haven’t played our best brand of basketball these past two games. We’re going to stay together as a team and things are going to switch.
Q: Can you share what you saw on that turnover late in the game, if it was just a simple miscue.
DYLAN HARPER: I didn’t even see it. I turned my head and I just saw Brunson on the floor.
Q: Are you feeling good about Wemby’s shot at the end? It looked like a great look.
DYLAN HARPER: Yeah, I think we’re all living with that shot. He’s wide open. That shot he makes in his sleep. Obviously, everyone wanted it to go in, but that’s just not how the game works sometimes. So we’re going to regroup. But we’re going to take that shot every time.
Q: What is making the Knicks so tough right now? It seems like, in opposition to OKC, they’re getting contributions from everybody.
DYLAN HARPER: They’re a great team. I think they got here for a reason. The brand of basketball they play, I think, second to none. We just have to adjust.
Q: You’re down 14 with six minutes to go. What allowed you all to make that run at the end?
DYLAN HARPER: Just got to believe. We kind of dug ourselves in a hole and I think as a collective we all feel like we could dig ourselves back out, and that’s what we did
Q: Tonight is obviously a tough loss. What do you think is the biggest challenge for you guys to overcome going into the next game?
DYLAN HARPER: I think the biggest thing for us is just staying together, not putting our heads down. You’ve just got to focus on the next game. It’s not the first to win two. So we can’t really hang our heads on that. We’ve just got to come out with a mentality of being more desperate.
