Press Conference

Q. So Linn, you've been talking about this forever. Again, beating all the men. Coming here, I mean, the feeling of creating equality in the game and being able to win a tournament like that, no, what does it mean for you?

LINN GRANT: I mean, a lot, especially since it was home. It will always be a tournament that I cherish very much.

But it's just nice. Every time I play at home I feel like I get back to like my good game.

Like coming here this week the grass is very similar. Kind of used to weather-wise. It's very similar to home. So feels like hopefully I can just continue what I started last tournament.

Q. So, I mean, I know you've been working on this. What does it take to bring home to every big event in the U.S., to feel like at home and to be able to compete like that?

LINN GRANT: I think it's tough. The hardest part has been all the traveling and figuring out how many weeks in a row can I do and when does it feel like too much.

Everything is still a learning process. I feel good about this week. I really like the course. I try to stay very positive every week and kind of find things about the place that I really like.

Q. Your favorite things about this golf course or the things that are going to work well for you?

LINN GRANT: I like that's it's very narrow. I'm usually strong from the tee. Like I don't mind hitting my driver when it's narrow. I think that will be my strength this week.

And then just being very familiar with the grass type, hitting shots from both fairways, and rough feels very familiar to me.
