Q. Talk about your round today.

ROSE ZHANG: Yeah, today overall felt a little more solid than yesterday, but coming in it was definitely a little rough. I was putting myself in positions that were not ideal, and when you're out here, especially at a major championship venue, it is difficult to get up-and-down. I really had to keep calm and stay composed throughout.

Q. What's been some of the differences you saw in either your game or the course between today and yesterday?

ROSE ZHANG: Yeah, in the afternoon the weather got a little misty. The weather came down a little bit. But for the most part, I thought it was going to rain down a little more, so I was pretty thankful that it didn't have to be that way where you grab your umbrella all the time throughout the round.

I do think that the pin locations, the rough was thicker, it was wetter, and it was hard to grab the club through the rough.

Q. Any changes to the strategy after what you've seen from the course between today and yesterday?

ROSE ZHANG: Definitely not. I think this entire golf course is all about strategy. I do want to make a couple of adjustments just because I feel like the game plans that I've been having the past two days have been a little iffy.

But I'm excited to just stay composed, stay in the moment and hit it shot by shot when I'm out here.

Q. How do you stay composed when it's your first major on Tour and all that? How do you stay composed?

ROSE ZHANG: It is difficult, but it is a new atmosphere. I'm just kind of in the mindset of learning and just treating everything as a learning process. That allows me to just take it one by one and think about everything that's happening and just soak it in. That allows me to really stay grounded, really stay present and just figure things out when they come.
