THE MODERATOR: Mario, real nice start for you today in the opening round. What did you do well out there.
MARIO TIZIANI: I gave myself a lot of chances, honestly. I hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens. I hit it pretty close to the hole. That was kind of not a lot of stress with a lot of up and over putts, which we're going to have eventually here, but today was -- I was able to get on the right level.
Q. How many tournaments did you play this year?
MARIO TIZIANI: I think I've played five this year.
Q. So this is a good result for that --
MARIO TIZIANI: Yeah, yeah, anytime.
Q. I understand when you are not playing you have other duties or many hats, including assisting your brother-in-law.
MARIO TIZIANI: Yeah, I quit golf for a long time and got into sports management, player management. I continue to do that as part of the other stuff that I do. I couldn't really just give it up. I had a client base, and I'm able to have the time to do it out here, and he's family, so it helps.
Q. Who are your clients?
MARIO TIZIANI: I have Brian Campbell on the PGA TOUR, Steve, Luke Guthrie, who's on the Korn Ferry, as well, David Perkins who's on the Korn Ferry. I've got a few guys. A couple females, as well.
Q. How do you practice and how do you keep in form for a round like this?
MARIO TIZIANI: Yeah, I'm busy, so I'm up early, and every day is a full day. It's time management. But like I said, they give us enough time and space out here to work on your game.
Q. You've seen your players that you represent being in the position where you are right now, so what will you do now?
MARIO TIZIANI: Yeah, that's a good question. Just try to do what you're doing. I think that's easier said than done. But I've prepared, I feel, and -- so yeah, I'm just going to go try to execute and do what I'm doing.
