Q. How did you feel you played today?
MAVERICK McNEALY: I played really solid. Honestly my game has felt really good for a while now and I just haven't seen the scores, and it was nice to not make any mistakes really, and didn't three-putt and really happy with the shots I hit and I got the putter rolling, too.
Q. How do you know coming into the week when you're on?
MAVERICK McNEALY: Actually I don't. I felt really, really good every single tournament just about this year, and I had a meeting with some of my team, my coaches and Travis, my caddie, and just kind of talking to them like, is there something I'm missing here and they basically just said stay in the saddle, we really like what you're doing, and you know, just keep going, because something good is going to happen soon, and I'm really happy that something did happen today.
Q. What are you going to draw on this weekend?
MAVERICK McNEALY: Well, I've been in contention a couple times. Had a couple really good weeks at AT&T and Pebble and Hilton Head. Got some good feelings there, and I love the golf course. I feel really comfortable on these bentgrass greens, and just want to give myself a chance on Sunday.
