Q. Congratulations. Let's start off, 72nd hole, you push your drive wide right. What's going through your mind after you post a double bogey?
EMILIANO GRILLO: Well, I've done it before. I've hit it there. I knew, as soon as I saw the ball going right, I was like this is going to be a very long hole. I've been through that pain of watching the ball just roll 120 yards back.
I knew that, if I stayed ahead of Scottie, still with a chance. If I can beat Scottie by one shot, I could still have a chance. I did my absolute hardest to make a 5 in there, and just I didn't have my driver today.
But my caddie said to hit a 3-wood. Went there on the range and hit 3-woods. That was my game plan for the playoff. It worked out with two very nice birdies on 16.
Q. Great tee shot at 16. The golf gods were smiling on that. It covers the bunker and rolls down inside of five feet.
EMILIANO GRILLO: Yeah, the shot wasn't that great. Obviously it was a bit right of where I wanted. I took the entire slope and got close.
Then Adam made an absolutely -- that shot back there was -- I was looking forward to a two-putt win, and then he just chip in there. Obviously I had to get my stuff together.
Q. I followed you all over the world. You've been grinding for seven years, my friend. I've seen your highs and lows. What is going through your mind now? Congrats being back on top.
EMILIANO GRILLO: Obviously it's great. It made everything worth it. The playing, all the hours practicing, the effort from my family. It makes you think when you started playing all the emotions come through your head.
It's been tough, but it's worth every second. People ask me if I would have done something different, obviously looking back, I wouldn't. This is just worth it.
