Q. Great round of golf, what was really working for you today?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: This week definitely the driver was especially good today, and when I feel like when my driver is on then I can score well and it was on today so it felt good.
Q. You've been one of the premier iron players in the world for a long time, it seems like this golf course would be perfect for you; do you agree?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: First, I got to get it in the fairway. But once I'm in the fairway, I feel like I can score. It hasn't been that good recently but today it was, so everything came together today.
Q. It's hot here. I know you haven't been here for many years. Was the heat one of the reasons you didn't come to this tournament more often?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I wouldn't say that, but it's definitely hot and I'm going to rest tonight, it's going to be hot tomorrow so I'm prepared to handle it tomorrow.
