Quick Quotes

Q. Scott, how difficult were those conditions, especially on the back nine today?

SCOTT STALLINGS: Man, I would like to see a video of my putt on 14. We read it kind of outside right, and just like the ball comes off the putter and just goes straight left. Everybody had to deal with it. The course was definitely very fair. But man, just kind of like I said yesterday, you kind of got some of those holes kind of up on top, some of the flat spots, and you could hear the tent -- we were putting in that.

Going to come up a couple short but feel like my game is in a good spot and excited definitely for the next few weeks.

Q. How aware were you of the situation, five guys tied for the lead at one point?

SCOTT STALLINGS: Honestly just keep the ball in front of me. Made a good birdie on 11 and then I think I hit a 200-yard 9-iron on 12. When it's this warm and the Bermuda is the perfect length for a bunch of fliers, we had 155 yards we were trying to chip a 9-iron up around the front edge of the green and it flew over the back bunker. I gave myself enough looks the last few days, should have capitalized a little bit better on the greens, but happy with the way I hung in there and I was happy with the shots I hit in on 18.

Q. Given how hard the conditions were, how good is a 65 for Sam today?

SCOTT STALLINGS: I mean, 65 on Sunday, it's no wonder that him and Scottie are where they are in the FedExCup. Top to bottom, got some really good guys out here, and him and Travis had a heck of a year. I played with Sam when he won at Valspar, and he's got all the tools. So not surprised.
