NICK TAYLOR: It was a good start, kind of sluggish in the middle. I had a great finish, so it was nice to finish off the round. The eagle on 17 was nice to cap the round off, so yeah, really happy with how it went.
Q. What did you see there on that putt?
NICK TAYLOR: You know, I had struggled with that tee shot in the past. I hit 3-wood today with helping wind and hit a great 4-iron on to the green. I've been putting really well and saw a good line and made the putt. It was three great shots, but the second shot was probably the best shot. It's pretty narrow there in front of the green.
Q. You've played here before; how much does that help that you kind of know what to expect around here?
NICK TAYLOR: Scores are always low here, so I know what to expect. Like you said, I've had some good rounds over the last few years, so just kind of keep going, keep my head down. I'm assuming it's probably going to be around 20-under to win, so just got to keep doing what I'm doing.
Q. How do you feel about your game right now the way you're playing?
NICK TAYLOR: Yeah, I feel like I've been building towards this the last four or five tournaments. I've made cuts but haven't had anything great. It's slowly piecing together. I felt like last week I didn't make any putts and today and yesterday I made some putts, so it's nice to see the ball going in, and again, just keep doing what I'm doing.
